Board Vacancy Announcement

NOTICE OF VACANCY SCHOOL BOARD APPOINTMENT,

Trustee Eugene Parks Jr has submitted his resignation to the Kernville Union School District Board of Trustees effective July 22, 2024.

As a result of the resignation, the board of Trustees
determined they would make a provisional
appointment to fill the vacancy by advertising,
interviewing, and selecting an individual for the
vacant position.

The District asks individuals interested in serving
on the Kernville Union School District Board
of Trustees to submit a resume and a letter of
intent to the Kernville Union School District
Superintendent’s Office 6416 Lake Isabella Blvd Ste A by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday September 3, 2024.

The letter of intent shall have the following information:
1) Why are you interested in serving as a member
of the Kernville Union School District Board of
Trustees?
2) What experience and qualities would you bring
to the Board?
3) What significant information would you like the
Board to know or what issues do you feel are
important to the District?

The Board will conduct interviews the evening of
Tuesday, September 10, 2024, 3240 Erskine Creek Rd, Lake Isabella, Ca. at 4:00 p.m. and an appointment will be made at the next regular Board meeting, September 10, 2024at 5:00 p.m. These dates and this appointment conform with
the legal requirements set by California Education Code 5091.
